NVM (never–mind) Panel Discussion on Mental Health & Technology

Tomorrow evening Macro Waves will be hosting a panel discussion on mental health in the digital age with me as the moderator. Please join us for this conversation in our latest installation NVM. There will be pop up comfort food by Lena Veronicaa of MILKTOOTH as well as tea from Jul Custodio! We will also end the night with guided meditation from Samantha Curl! Doors open at 6PM and its free!

So we started planning this show about mental health at the beginning of 2017 shortly after the Ghost Ship fire. We got a grant for the show. There was a fire in Emeryville which temporarily displaced many members of Macro Waves and led to the show being postponed. Because of this we lost the grant. After things settled down with that we got back on track and set up another exhibition date. That date was also postponed due to the poor air quality from again another fire.

It’s been a roller coaster to say the least, but I’m proud to announce the show will finally go on OCTOBER 19, 2017 at 6-9PM. This is one of our strongest shows yet and I hope all of you can make it out. For more details:
